With a concentration of 19% Vol., the wine spreads on the nose a strong, sweet and dense aroma: blueberries, sour cherries, with notes of light roast and bitter chocolate.
On the palate, the wine reveals its strength and richness, the fruity sweetness quickly giving way to the impressive strength of the alcohol content, balanced by delicately blended tannins. The aftertaste is long, recalling the outstanding ripeness of the grapes.

This wine is made entirely from Petit Verdot grapes, harvested exclusively at the Moscatello vineyard in the town of Pozzolengo.

The delicate blend of 90% Montepulciano and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, meticulously cared for in every stage of production: only fully ripe and carefully selected grape bunches are used. Skin fermentation takes place at 23–25 °C for 10 days, after which the wine is aged for 24 months in oak and barrique barrels, followed by a further 6 months in bottle before release.

Grapes are selected from 100% Sangiovese with 28 different lines, grown in Santa Mustiola, Chiusi - a unique and rare plot of land.
After a thorough vinification process, the wine is aged for 78 months in French barrique barrels and partly in Slovenian oak barrels (20–30 hl), then continues to mature for at least 24 months in bottle.

After completing the malolactic fermentation process, the wine is aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, then briefly matured in bottle before being officially released on the market in the second year after harvest.
